That's the dress, the one you would love to wear to a cocktail party or on a night out with your friends.
You tell yourself that you’ll wear it out… once you have a place to go to and (sigh), oh and, maybe after you’ve lost your muffin top.
You promise yourself that you will start that diet and join the gym so you can lose those extra pounds.
But time passes, you spend all your energy helping everyone else and there is nothing left for yourself.
One night you go out with some friends and there, you can't believe it, but there she is, wearing the dress, your dress.....and she looks good, really good. Everyone notices and they begin to talk about how great she looks in the dress. You smile, but inside you cringe.....that was supposed to be you....
Right then you swear to yourself that you will start that diet and going the gym next week!
You begin to eat like a rabbit living on only salads, yogurt and a 100 calorie snacks; but time and time again you find yourself day-dreaming of food. You spend every morning in the gym and collapse into the bed every evening.
After a week or two of pure torture the scale is not budging you say "to hell with it" and end up going on a bender that leaves you in a carb coma waking up with a food hangover.
Frustrating? You bet and I’m here to tell you that it’s not your fault. A lot of women have tried multiple fad diets, exercising and they always come up short! They always end up giving up because the diets are not sustainable.

A Message from
I am a Registered Nurse, and an Integrative Nutritional Health Coach. I believe that being healthy requires more than good food and exercise, we need good healthy habits, mindfulness, and lots of self love.
I too struggled with following healthy behaviors even when faced with disease. As a nurse I have witnessed it with many people and over time I came to realize that we have to do more than give someone a meal plan and tell them to go to the gym.
I began to offer more to my patients, discussing gratitude, self love, and meditation. I encouraged them to develop healthy habits that would help them sustain the changes needed to manage, or reverse, their health problems. Together we discovered their individual needs and found the foods that helped them thrive.
At the same time I was incorporating these changes in my life and tried each tool out on myself first. Over time I have developed a program that will provide the framework for you to not only meet your goals but help you create healthy behaviors that will give you sustained changed and an amazing life.

She received her coaching training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she received in-depth training in nutrition, health and wellness, coaching skills, and business development. Miriam leads workshops on nutrition and offers individual, and group, health and nutrition coaching to parents and families.
